A swift sunrise
A brisk breeze
And skies blue as the seas

The universe sighs
Overhead, stars twinkle bright

At last the horizon beckons
And landfall awaits
A white shore
And high mountains
At long last, in view

With breath that joins, like clouds, the frigid air
My cheeks are roses, frozen red until
I reach the hearth; such life awaits me there

Awaken, o my heart
To fiery calls of brass
