Whether the stars shine
Whether the ice recedes
I will be glad

Whether the flowers bloom
Whether the world awakens

Heaven’s not so far
When your hand is wrapped ’round mine
And we speak softly

I walk at times amidst the tow’ring trees
And listen for the wisdom they would share
Their whispers ride the current of the breeze
And fill with ageless truth the verdant air

A calm, its pieces of peace

That we might be as one
