Yet feel instead of grass’s blades

The comfort of rulers
To go away
And leave me
In peace

Within unopened books
And so hurrah to those who ope

That I might hear the stories known
And unknown
That I might learn the truths spoken

That I might see the sights seen
And unseen
This is my wish

Whither must I wander
To find answers
That fate has not yet
Availed me?
4/25/2022 – a haiku
The pages whisper
Of tales beyond memory
Old, fantastic myths
