My mind and body seem to be at odds
They make me question if they’re truly one

My heart moves me
To listen to silent winds
To read hidden words

I so abhor the noise within
That wears upon my weary mind

A trodden land is silent
A forgotten land hums
An untouched land sings

Let all the music on the wind

I walk amongst the ashes of a place
Gone dry and cold from unbound fear and greed
