Torrential rains pouring upon
A mind already tired

3/10/2021 – a haiku
Why choose cruelty
When sharing kind words, a smile
Is much easier?
Icicles
Spires of clearest glass
As they would seem upside down
Dripping clean water
2/26/2021 – a haiku
At last I see green
And smell coming spring’s fresh scent
And my heart lightens
2/19/2021 – ten thousand years
Ten thousand years past
To us, an eternity
Yet no time at all
2/16/21 – from nothing
From silence grows music
From death grows life
From nothing grows all
2/15/21 – snowflakes
Falling from on high
Spinning in eddies of wind
Stunning
Perfect
Constructed with utmost care
Gone in a moment
Light to dark
Light to dark
It happens so quickly sometimes
Each day flowing to the next
Never slowing
Never halting
No time for a breath
2/10/2021 – green
Though diamonds coat the ground
I often dream of green
2/9/21 – Drums
The trees, the strings
The wind, the horns
The birds, the flutes
My heart, the drums
