Some days I can rest
Others my mind is weary
Yet can only whirl

Looks like I owe you two poems today! Here’s the one for yesterday, very belated.

Sun through the window
On a cold winter’s morning
Life, like none other

In warmest waters
I find a home like none else
Where quiet lives free

I have but one wish:
That Earth and I remain one
Ere and after life

When will the sun come
Triumphant from behind clouds
To shine upon me?

The words of others
Swirl in a storm of bold type
In this dreaming head

Sit here beside me
Run your fingers through my hair
Let me feel you there

Sing warm and bright tunes
Against the cold of winter
Let sun-music ring

As snow melts away
Life and death reveal themselves
Each like the other

A star glowed brightly
So I followed, knowing not
Where the star might lead
